It's time! MenntóMUN 2011 will be held on 11-13 November in University of Iceland (Árnagarđur building, see Árnagarđur/University Area).
This time around, the Security Council is faced with the dire situation in Somalia, which eventually lead to famine. You will have to look into matters such as failed/fragile states, poverty, piracy, hostage taking, terrorism, refugee and IDP issues and crisis management to name a few.
This year, the setup will be slightly different from previous years. We'll stay true to the holiest of cows - simulate a United Nations Security Council and tackle serious world issues while at the same time keeping our countries interest in mind - but this year we'll incorporate some hard play into our weekend of hard work.
