We welcome you to participate in this year's Iceland Model UN.

In the largest IceMUN from beginning we will simulate the UN Security Council and debate the recent conflicts in the Korean peninsula.

Programme

Friday 25th

13:00     Meet at the Þjóðarbókhlaða, National and University Library.

14:00     Reception by the President of Iceland, Mr Olafur Ragnar Grimsson at presidential residence, Bessastaðir (transport provided from Þjóðarbókhlaða)

16:00     Opening ceremony in room HT101 in the University of Iceland (transport provided from Bessastaðir)
                  - Briefing on the scenario
                  - Briefing on the UN Security Council, Rules of Procedures and the weekend ahead

18:00     Dinner (optional) following a meet and greet with representatives from delegates' respective embassies, consulates and other relevant bodies.

Saturday 26th

10:00-18:00     Session, with lunch and coffee breaks

Sunday 27th

10:00     Session, lunch and coffee breaks

18:00     Closing ceremony
